The actor and the target...
Energetic, passionate, friendly, fun.
Imaginative, intelligent, dedicated, versatile.
It's a tall order for an actor, but, even at just under 5' 5", I aim to live up to it all, and have some laughs along the way. What I love most about acting is striving to be open to everything and everyone - ideas, experiences, other people, and of course, yourself. I'm always learning.
My "brilliant capering" (The Times) and "glint-in-the-eye glee" (The Scotsman) have found me all sorts of experience: classical, modern and physical theatre; musical theatre and opera; films and commercials; and the odd panto!
As well as playing the piano, flute, piccolo, accordion, euphonium and tenor saxophone, I also sing as a professional tenor: choral music, church music, solos in oratorios, barbershop, and jazz. I've also occasionally been called upon to act as a musical director, specialising in a capella harmony, and I've composed and arranged music on several shows, including some of the music for Twelfth Night and The Taming Of the Shrew at The Old Vic.
To find out what I'm up to at the moment and what I've been doing over the last year, you can visit my Projects page.
I hope you enjoy the rest of the site, and can make it along to see me perform at some point in the future.
